Arish Mell is a small cove on the Dorset coast roughly halfway between Mupe Bay at West Lulworth and Worbarrow Tout.
Please note: Arish Mell is not open to the public, as the beach lies within the Lulworth Ranges, an Army tank firing range, and has not been cleared of explosives.
South-facing the shingle beach is backed by chalk cliffs but there is no access. However, for the inquisitive, the South West Coast Path runs past the back of the bay.
There are some fine walks west towards Lulworth Cove passing Mupe Bay or east towards Worbarrow Tout and the deserted village of Tyneham inland.
