Poole Park Charity Dragon Boat Challenge
Do you have what it takes to be the ultimate Dragon Boat Champions? Join SFHT and enter the Poole Park Charity Dragon Boat Challenge raising funds for adults with learning disabilities to lead more independent lives.
We are looking for businesses, groups, families or friends to take to the water and battle it out against other competitors at Poole Park on Saturday 5th May. Whether you are looking for a team building exercise, a networking opportunity, to push your competitive limits or just have a fun day out, this is how you can achieve it, whilst also raising money for a great cause.
The event is from 10am to 3pm at Poole Park. Entry cost is £370 per boat and a team is made up of a maximum of 17 people (1 drummer and 16 paddlers) per boat or a minimum of 13 people.
You will have a minimum of 3 races and the 4 fastest teams will go into a grand final where you will receive an engraved glass trophy and medals for winners and runners up. No experience is required as full training is given on the day and all equipment is provided.
You will have your own allocated pitch where you can have your own branded gazebo, pop up banners and promotional material, plus there's plenty to do in-between races with live commentary, music, bouncy castle, face painting, catering van or just bring your own picnic.
