Weymouth Carnival from the Nothe Fort
Weymouth Carnival Day - excellent vantage point.
Overlooking Weymouth Bay, the Nothe Fort is an ideal vantage point to watch the Weymouth Carnival air display between 13:00 and 16:00.
The fort will remain open until 22:00, and will be a wonderful place from which to view the fireworks display at 21:30 which closes the carnival.
The display will commence with the firing of the Nothe Fort Victorian cannons, from the fort ramparts.
The Fort View café will remain open throughout the day serving hot and cold snacks and drinks and there is also a licensed bar.
Normal admission prices apply all day.
All areas of the Fort will be accessible throughout the day, and the Matchstick Fleet will also be in residence.
Parking is available at the Nothe Gardens car park.
There is a Victorian weekend with the 'Ragged Victorians' planned for 18th &19th August - visit the website for details of this event.
The fort is dog friendly, and all areas are accessible for our disabled visitors.
